Ahmed’s Latest Release “Alisha” Is Out Now On All Platforms

Ahmed Khan is a 27-year-old independent Punjabi singer hailing from Belgium. Having initially started as a songwriter and producer, often ghostwriting for well known Punjabi artists for the last 3 years, Ahmed has recently pursued his own career in music. An avid listener of artists such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jahan and Chamkila, Ahmed has been influenced by classic sounds. He is soulful but maintains a current European sound. Having lived in Manchester for many years and frequently visiting friends and family in the UK, Ahmed has been immersed and encouraged by the more urban British Asian sound which has translated globally.
Ahmed’s recent release ‘Million’ was released by international powerhouse T Series. Following in the footsteps of the likes of Arjun, Zack Knight and Jaz Dhami as European based talent who have been supported by India’s biggest label. Ahmed aims to fly the flag for Belgium and become the first recognized Punjabi act to make an impact from the country, with a vision to inspire others to follow suit. Having been supported by the likes of Bobby Friction and Yasser on the BBC Asian Network, Ahmed is looking forward to pushing ahead with further releases in 2019 ahead of a full album.
