The news of Love Aaj Kal 2 starring Kartik Aaryan has been doing the rounds since some time now. While there were rumors that Sara Ali Khan will be sharing screen space with the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor, a recent report suggests that it isn’t true. As per a leading daily, Sara was never considered for the role, in fact, Kiara Advani has been offered the role opposite Kartik.
Is that the star cast of Love Aaj Kal 2? Kartik was the first choice for the second installment in the franchise. But, Kiara being part of it is pretty untrue.
Dismissing all the rumors, Kiara tweeted,
“One of the leading newspaper claims that I have been roped in for Imtiaz Sir’s next.. While I wish the news was true, I’d like to clarify that it’s not. I have not been approached for this film.”
Given that Kiara Advani had now denied being part of this Imtiaz Ali film, we wonder who will be cast opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Love Aaj Kal (2009) is considered one of the best rom-com in Bollywood. The film starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Giselli Monteiro in lead roles alongside Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
