The year 2018 witnessed the new seasons of many prominent non-fictional shows along with the arrival of some really new & fresh content. Where shows like Indian Idol, Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bigg Boss, India’s Got Talent, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Splitsvilla, Roadies etc returned back to our screens with their latest seasons, while shows like Dus Ka Dum, Comedy Circus, Dil Hai Hindustani, etc made their comebacks on the small screens after a long time. The year also saw the launch of new reality shows like India’s Next Superstar, Kanpurwale Khurranas etc.

- Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 10
The extremely popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati came back again with its 10th season in 2018. It was hosted by the one & only Shehanshah of Bollywood, the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. The show aired on Sony TV in September 2018.
- Bigg Boss Season 12
The most controversial show, Bigg Boss, came back this year with its 12th season, which is all the more entertaining. Hosted by the Salman Khan, the show aired on Colors TV in September 2018. This year it has some popular contestants like TV actors Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakkar, Shrishtey Rode, Rohit Suchanti, former-Indian Cricketer S. Shreesanth, Roadies ex-contestant Surbhi Rana and more.
- India’s Got Talent Season 8
One of the most prominent talent based shows, India’s Got Talent welcomed its season 8 this year. The show’s judges panel includes director Karan Johar, the beautiful actor Malaika Arora & veteran actor turned politician Kirron Kher. This season is hosted by the talented comedian Bharti Singh & the charming Rithvik Dhanjani! The show went on air on Colors TV in October 2018.
- Dance Plus Season 4
Dance Plus, one of the most popular dance reality show returned to our television screens yet again with its 4th season, along with some scintillating & nerve-wracking performances by the contestants. The show has director-choreographer Remo D’Souza as the Super Judge, & choreographers Shakti Mohan, Punit Pathak & Dharmesh Yelande as the captains. The show is hosted by dancer Raghav Juyal & singer-comedian Sugandha Mishra. The show went on air on Star Plus in October 2018.
- Indian Idol Season 10
The 10th season of the cult singing reality show, Indian Idol, had one of the most talented singers from all over India. The show was judged by the singers Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani & Javed Ali. The show was hosted by none other than the splendid host Maniesh Paul. This season was won by the euphoric singer Salman Ali. The show went on air in July 2018 on Sony TV.
