Fashion brand Élan launch in India through Vesimi!
Fashion label Elan hosted their launch this month with beautiful couture pieces! The event took place with multi-designer store Vesimi while at Foo, Lower Parel. Hosted by celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra.
The decor done by Devika Sakhuja, similarly Sakhuja created unique headgears for each mannequin. It created an elegant and fresh look for the brand!
Futhermore, the brand held the event for Mumbai’s fashion icons such as Kubbra Sait, Nishka Lulla, Shaheen Abbas and more!
Elan which started in 2006 became a success due to its detailed and luxurious evening and bridal wear! Elan became a household fashion name with its luxury prêt-a-porter and unique versatile aesthetic! The word Elan is a French word similar to style, confidence and elegance. Everything the brand stands for! An Elan outfit can be traditional or modern as well as rather pleasing to the eye.
Vesimi, being one of the best luxury fashions stores, retails within Indian, Pakistani and Dubai Fashion weeks! Celebrity designers offer style-savvy designs for customers and access to the hottest looks within the latest collection. There were many known faces at the event and they had some interesting thoughts on this launch that we were excited to share below.
Designer Khadijah Shah (founder of Elan) talks about entering the Indian market:
“I am excited to bring my beloved brand, Élan into India through Vesimi. India remains one of the most prominent relevant avenues for us as we look at International expansion. The fact that our ethos is very similar, and the population five times that of Pakistan, our attraction is obvious.”
Atinirmal Pagarni, founder of Vesimi commented:
“It is such an honour to be able to give a brand like Élan, that is much loved, a platform to reach out to the Indian audience. The turnout and sales today were greater than even set expectations and we hope to bring a lot more exhibitions to multiple cities in India.”
Furthermore, Bollywood stylist, Sanjana Batra added:
“Élan has always been a personal favourite and I absolutely love their aesthetic. Vesimi is known for their great eye and curation so the two coming together were a match made in heaven. The turnout was overwhelming ofcourse and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to co-host the coming of such a loved brand in our city!”
Kubbra Sait , known for her character “Kuku” in the Netflix Original – Sacred Games explained what she loves most about Elan:
