Pankaj Tripathi who was seen playing the know-it-all in Stree will be now seen in a reformed avatar. With a changed diction and a version that’s way too fierce, Tripathi will play a gangster for whom morality and goodness mean nothing.

The story is set against the backdrop of Purvanchal, a region filled with sinners and death stories like never before. The plot knits the tale of gangsters and powerful men involved in the business of weapons and ammunition, illegally.

The star cast of Mirzapur is quite promising. The series features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey in sketching characters like never before.
