Vishesh Films’ upcoming romantic drama Jalebi starring Rhea Chakraborty, Varun Mitra, and Digangana Suryavanshi, is all set to create a stir amongst the audience with its ‘Everlasting Taste of Love’.
Actor Varun Mitra who plays the role of a tour guide in Jalebi revealed the process of getting into the skin of his character. He took part in actual excursion of Old Delhi to understand the role he had to portray.
He said:
“I had to absorb the colours and energy of Old Delhi. It’s a different world which needed to be felt and lived in to be portrayed convincingly.”
The actor has previously hosted travel shows too.
He further added:
“I think it helped me to be around real tour guides. Because what I understood is that a tour guide doesn’t only show you around the area but also takes you in to experience the place as if you belonged there.’’
Directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj and produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Jalebi is slated to release on October 12th, 2018.
