Producer and real estate developer Anand Pandit have teamed up with Panorama Studios once again. The duo has acquired the All India theatrical rights for the Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Earlier they had acquired the All India theatrical rights of Satyamev Jayate,
This Shahid Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer has been the talk of the town ever since its trailer was released. This Shree Narayan Singh directorial also stars Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma among others.
Says Anand Pandit,
“I believe in content-driven cinema and Batti Gul Meter Chalu is an example of a film that connects with the masses. It is relevant, deals with contemporary issues in an entertaining manner. I want to be part of every such film makes a strong social comment without being preachy.”
Distributed by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures in association with Panorama Studios and it is produced by T-Series and Virendra Arora in association with Krti Pictures. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Divyendu Sharma among others. It releases worldwide on 21st September 2018.
