The Spy Who Dumped Me narrates the plot of two best friends that get stuck in a spy conspiracy after Mila’s onscreen boyfriend dumps her. The film closely focuses on pure female friendships and heartbreaks in a relationship that bring women closer to one another. While the two protagonists juggle through obstacles pretty much by luck, audiences are left awestruck of the two actresses in action.
Writer Susanna Fogel who turned director for the film said, “This is Bridesmaids meet Bond.”
The Spy Who Dumped Me was shot at exotic locations like Budapest, Los Angeles, Prague, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, etc. keeping in line with the genre of the film.
Talking about the film, Mila said,
“Audrey is very gun-shy, and doesn’t lie well, is nervous in life, is self-conscious at all times, and plays life very safe. Morgan is her counterpart who is a struggling actress, who views life as one giant audition, and is constantly doing voices and characters, takes risks and chances, and goes balls out. The two of them kind of collide and go on this adventure together.”
With Susanna at the backend and Mila and Kate in the forefront, the film has women kicking asses on both sides of the camera.
