Soorma – the biopic on the ex-Indian hockey captain is a very powerful story set to release soon. The cast and the crew of the film put in months of dedication and hard work in order to do justice to the story of the inspirational hockey player Sandeep Singh.
Director Shaad Ali shared how he spent a lot of time re-watching footage of Sandeep Singh in action as well as spent time with Sandeep’s family in his hometown. Making the incredible effort to keep the movie as authentic as possible in order to capture the real spirit of Sandeep’s journey, leading actor, Diljit Dosanjh trained with Sandeep himself.
