The musical tribute was all the more special as it was put together by visually impaired artists from Drishti Foundation. The artists performed on all the popular Raj Kapoor songs such as Awara Hoon, Jeena Yaha Marna Yaha, Pyar Hua Ikraar Hua, Jeena Isi ka Naam Hai among others that perfectly captured the era and its magnificence.

The non-government and non-profit organization aims at creating a strong foothold for millions of visually impaired people across India. The tribute was a part of its vision to bring employment to the visually challenged fraternity and their constant endeavor of displaying their talent to the fullest potential across platforms.

Speaking about the musical show, Executive Trustee, Drishti Foundation, Priyesh Jain said:

“Being visually impaired, I never thought of it as a disability and I aim to promote this very ideology among others with a view to encourage employment for the community. The musical tribute by Drishti Foundation is a step towards making people aware of the many other capabilities that even a visually impaired person can have and if analyzed well, can be channelized in the right direction.”
