Sridevi and Vinod Khanna Honoured At The 65th National Film Awards

The 65th National Film awards which was announced today in Delhi posthumously awarded two icons of Indian cinema – Sridevi and Vinod Khanna.

Sridevi won her first National Award for Best Actress for her performance in MOM and Vinod Khanna will receive the Dadasaheb Phalke award.

 

Sridevi had passed away earlier this year due to accidental drowning in Dubai. The entire industry was in a shock after hearing about her death.

 

Apart from Sridevi and Vinod Khanna, Divya Dutta also won the Best Supporting Actress for Irada. Fahad Fazil won Best Supporting Actor for Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum which also won Best Malayalam Film and Best Screenplay.
