Salman Khan will even have to spend Friday night in Jodhpur jail. The judgement on the actor’s bail plea hearing has been reserved till Saturday morning.

Yesterday, Salman Khan had been sentenced to 5-year jail term and was also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000. Salman was arrested immediately and is now in Jodhpur Central Jail.
The actor was found guilty of the killing of two blackbucks near Jodhpur in Rajasthan nearly 20 years ago. The other actors — Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari who had accompanied him have been acquitted.

He has been convicted under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, which carries maximum punishment of six years and minimum one-year jail term.

The actor accused of killing the blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur on the night of October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
