Milind Soman broke every girl’s heart on April 22nd when we got the news that the actor got married to his girlfriend Ankita Konwar.
Milind went first, sharing a photo from their wedding which was an amalgam of Assamese and Maharashtrian rituals. He wrote with the photo, “To love forever and a new beginning everyday I love you @earthy_5.” This was his first post after their wedding.
The two got married in Alibaug yesterday.
The two have been dating each other for 3 years.
The couple took their wedding vows under a beautiful canopy of marigold flowers at a resort in Alibaug, Maharashtra. Ankita arrived under a veil of mogra flowers, held aloft by her relatives.
Milind and Ankita enjoyed their mehendi and haldi ceremonies on Saturday afternoon, followed by a sangeet at night. Milind’s co-star from 16 December, Dipannita Sharma also shared pictures and videos from the wedding.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Milind got married to Ankita in a small Maharashtrian style ceremony along with some Assamese customs that was conducted by the bride’s parents – Niranjana and Nagen Konwar. Ankita’s sister – Jharna Konwar Baruah was also present along with the couple’s close family members and friends.
Milind and Ankita were rumoured to have broken up earlier last week but the pictures from their getaway wedding put all speculations to rest. They often post pictures of each other on their social media handles.
