Singer Daler Mehndi Convicted In A Human Trafficking Case

Popular Punjabi/Bollywood singer Daler Mehndi has been convicted in a human trafficking case of 2003 by the Patiala court. The singer has been sentenced to two years in prison.

For all who do not know, we bring you all the details regarding this crime.

It had been alleged that the Mehndi brothers have illegally dropped off 10 people in the US during 1998 and 1999.

Daler has been accused of dropping off three girls in San Francisco. They were also accused of dropping off three boys in New Jersey in October 1999.

The Patiala Police had registered a case against Daler and Shamsher Mehndi following the complaint of Bakshish Singh.
