In Hichki, Rani plays Naina Mathur – a teacher who has a nervous system disorder, Tourette syndrome. From what we have seen in the trailer, we are already fans of her performance.

Rani essayed the part of a journalist Meera Gaity in the film. Her attempts to uncover the truth is surely praise worthy.
Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic – Angle-cum-Nanny (2008)
As the bubbly angle Geeta, Rani was sent on a mission on earth to bridge the gap between an arrogant businessman and 4 orphan kids. Her sweet portrayal won our hearts and finally convinced her to become a human (wink!).
Laaga Chunari Mein Daag – Escort (2007)
A small town girl who comes to the city of light in hopes for a brighter future only too have it crushed was beautifully portrayed by Rani Mukerji in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Even though she played an escort in this film, she did it with elegance and grace. Hats off Madam!
VeerZaara – Lawyer (2004)
In this cross-country romance, Rani played a Pakistani lawyer who makes it her life’s mission to reunite the lovers Veer and Zaara. While she played her role as a humble girl to the T, her performance when she attempts to put forth her case the highlight.
