Bhushan Kumar: Irrfan Khan Didn’t Want To Postpone Blackmail’s Release Date

As you might be aware, actor Irrfan Khan is unwell & is undergoing treatment. The makers of his upcoming film – Blackmail, which is scheduled to release on 6th April, were contemplating postponing the film’s release.

Says Bhushan Kumar,

“I was thinking of postponing the film’s release. We went to Irrfan Khan and asked him what we should do. He told us not to touch the release date. He said it’s my most loveable film. He’s already seen the film. He said whether I’m available or not, don’t change the release date.”

Adds director Abhinay Deo,

“When I met Irrfan, he said we should release the film on its scheduled date. He said he was happy with the film’s promotions. He asked us not to worry and go for it.”
