The much awaited song Ishq by noted singer Soumita Saha has become a hit.
Soumita, also known as Kolkata’s Justin Beiber, has made her International debut with her latest single titled ‘Ishq‘ on February 1. The song is available for download on several music streaming services including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Play, Beatport and Saavn. It has been released by famous LoudDj Records from Miami, United States. The song has received immensely positive reviews on Social Media as well as on Music Streaming websites. The song’s popularity can be gauged from the fact that within 24 hours of its launch, it has been streamed over 1000 times.
Talking about the success of song, Soumita says that it was unexpected. She has never thought of getting into the International Music Arena and getting so much success in the very first attempt. When asked whom she would like to thank for this achievement, she says
It has to be my parents. My father inspired me to explore every genre of music I could relate to since childhood. My mother has been a great critic who always highlighted my shortcoming and helped me to fill the gap. I consider myself lucky to have them.
The music of the song has been composed in collaboration with Kraxus, a Mumbai based DJ-cum-Music Production led by Kalpesh Kashid. Kalpesh started his career with Trance Music and he moved into Progressive and Bigroom music style. He has been successfully composing music since last 4 years.
Soumita says,
I was optimistic about Ishq from the very beginning. Kalpesh’s hard work paid off. I always had one thing in mind that February was the best time to release this song, as it was the month of Ishq (love).
