Anamika Khanna Interpreting Lakmé’s "Nudes Reinvented"

The ‘nudes’ trend has taken the fashion runway to surprise. Anamika Khanna’s Grand Finale at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2018 look was inspired by this amazing beauty trend. Bringing Anamika’s collection alive, Kareena Kapoor Khan, the face of Lakmé Absolute, was seen shocking everyone with a beautifully worn look.

Anamika Khanna is known for creating magic by blending Indian colors with global contours. She followed her gut while reinventing Lakmé’s beauty theme, to create a mix of Indian aesthetics with edgy cuts.

Her designs were influenced by the new generation of millennials, who are bold enough to wear their individuality on their sleeve. The use of traditional Zardozi in experimental ways and a mix of various textiles, colors, and prints gave each outfit a personality. This, fused with the ‘nudes reinvented’ theme, resulted in the grandest fashion extravaganza.
