Shashank Vyas will soon be seen in a short film titled Ek Mulaqat. The actor is thrilled to be part of the Manav Bhinder directorial and will be seen alongside his friend Adaa Khan.
“This is the first time that I am working with Adaa. It is very comfortable. We know each other well so it is easier to work together. She is hardworking and talented.”
Adaa, too, is thrilled work with him.
“Shanky and I are the closest of friends. We have a great chemistry and understand each other well. That helps a lot as an actor, when you share a rapport with a co-star, the chemistry and equation can be seen on the screen and shoots are always fun.”
Short films are an in thing now and both Shashank and Adaa are happy to be part of this one.
“In a short film, we know where the story is headed, and so sketching the characters is very clear. Plus Manav is dear friend. I saw his Ankahi Batein, he is a creative guy, plus he is so talented. Projects like these give a lot of creative satisfaction that is important to me. I try to watch other short films too.”
“Short films and web series is something that is easy to watch and less time consuming. The time commitment is also not much. I watch shows on NetFlix and short films on YouTube and there is no censorship. So there is creative freedom and you can say your story the way you want to. In fact, she too, was looking forward to working with Manav.
“Manav is my closest friend, so it was fun to shoot with him. I have always liked his short films especially Dor and can relate to his storytelling style. It was good to shoot with him.”
