Gavie Chahal is on cloud nine. His recent film Tiger Zinda Hai has been doing exceedingly well at the box-office. The actor says that he has got phenomenal responses for the character he has played, as well as the film.
“The response is amazing for both the film and my character of Captain Abrar. People are calling, messaging and talking about it. It feels good when the audience likes and talks about your work,”
he says, adding,
“This was not possible without Director Ali Abbas and Salman bhai. They gave their valuable guidance during the shoot. Shanoo proved yet again with her skills of casting. Every character is looking real and larger than life.”
Gavie says that the title of the film is apt for the story.
“The title justifies and proves yet again, who is the real tiger of Bollywood – Mr. Salman Khan. He delivered the action packed larger than life story. The wolf scene itself proves that he is the real tiger here.”
The actor is thrilled as his peers and seniors from the industry have also praised his work in the film.
“Everyone praised the work and I got appreciation from all the major icons of Bollywood, during the special screening. They specially loved the scenes in which I have the least to speak and still I fill the screen with my presence and eyes.”
Talking about his future plans, Gavie Chahal says,
“I would love to do more challenging and expressive roles. Where I can show more of my acting skills and people will take me back in their mind and heart when they leave the theatres.”
He adds,
“Anything challenging where my skills will be on test, will be great. I think a biopic or another family entertainer, which is full of action, will be amazing.”
