Variety compiles a list of the most influential people, taking into account their accomplishments over the previous year. Variety’s 500 Most Influential list this year features 362 personalities from the US, 28 from the UK, 20 from China, 16 from France, 15 from Germany, 12 from India, 8 from Italy, 6 from Spain and 4 from Mexico.

Balaji head, Ekta Kapoor was recently named as one of the most influential people in the world by Variety magazine. Apart from her, another 11 Indian personalities, including actors Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar, were named the most influential.
