Jackky Bhagnani who was last seen in short film Carbon with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Prachi Desai, has now bagged a role in Anandwaa which is to be produced by KriArj Entertainment.
KriArj Entertainment, who has produced Akshay Kumar’s movies ‘Rustom’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Padman’, are all set for their next Anandwaa.

Producer Prernaa Arora said:
“Jackky was our first choice because we felt he would be able to portray the role of Anandwaa to perfection. There is a sensitivity required with the right comic timing which Jackky is very good at. He is someone I have believed in from day one and he is very hard working. We are very excited about this project and the film goes on the floors early 2018.”
Anandwaa will be directed by Abir Sengupta, who made his debut with Bengali film ‘Jomer Raja Dilo Bor’.
Anandwaa is scheduled to go on floors on February 2018 and will be shot in Mumbai.
