Here Are 6 Board Games That Can Be Adapted Into Feature Films

Board games have also been a special part of the childhood. We either loved them or didn’t love them so much, but there’s no denial that they played a pretty big role in our lives.

Well, now in the 21st century, they have taken a new form. Yes you guessed it right, they are now being made into feature films. There have been a few game adaptions already in the past. And now with Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle, we can’t contain our excitement.

In the brand new adventure, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into the world of Jumanji. This happens when they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game’s jungle setting, into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.

What they discover is that – You don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you.

Forbidden Island is a cooperative adventure board game. A Forbidden Island adaptation could share some similarities in style and its use of environment as a character. The crucial element that would need to be developed would be the question of why they are searching for treasure on that island.
