This Diwali (Oct. 20) the audience was treated to the magnum opus Golmaal Again. The movie received outstanding appreciation from all quarters. Not only did the audience go out in huge numbers to watch the film, but Golmaal managed to create many trend-setting records too.
The movie performed extremely well at the box office in its first week. In its second week, the comedy continued to impress. In fact, there is no other Hindi release of 2017 that has managed such huge collections in its second. What is impressive is that the movie has now become the highest grosser of the year 2017 and has raked in Rs. 183 Crore so far.
The film not just found good momentum coming its way in the second weekend, it has maintained steady footfalls during the weekdays as well, what with 3.78 crores more coming on the second Wednesday. For the multi-starrer to manage that on its 13th day is quite remarkable. The overseas collections amounted to Rs. 41 crores. Now that’s quite impressive.
Currently, the movie is growing strong with each passing day and we are sure that in the days to come Golmaal Again will continue to break records.
