Here’s why Laksh Lalwani was scared of signing Porus!

Being part of Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s magnum Opus, ‘Porus’, seems to be the dream project for many. While the cast has been carefully chosen and trained, very few know that lead actor Laksh Lalwani was initially hesitant to take on the show.

Says Laksh,

“I was very scared before signing the show. We had many meetings about the script and character. It was a huge responsibility to portray the character of a prince. I had to learn horse riding, sword fighting and many things to get into my character. But, then I took it up as a challenge and prepared myself for the show.”

In fact, Laksh’s costumes weigh around 16 to 18 kg, and are laced with several ancient jewellery pieces. The actor, who is currently shooting in Umbergaon, Gujarat, for the show, was last seen portraying the character of Veer Mehra in ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’. Writer, director and producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has presented Laksh in such a grand way that he will surely be the flavour of the season.
