Actress Surveen Chawla to be honoured by the Chandigarh Government for her contribution to Punjabi cinema!

Surveen Chawla will be felicitated by the Chandigarh Government for her contribution to Punjabi cinema at an event scheduled today, November 1.

Surveen’s popularity as an actor is not just limited to Bollywood. She is also one of the most sought after names in the Punjabi film industry. The talented actress, who started her career with television, went on to create her own niche in Punjabi and Hindi films.

The gorgeous and talented Surveen has been part of successful Punjabi films like Dharti, Singh Vs Kaur and Disco Singh among others and enjoys a massive fan following in the North. Considering Surveen’s contribution to Punjabi films, she will be honoured with an award on November 1 this year.

While Surveen was asked to be present to collect the award, the actress wants to make it special for her parents who according to her are the ones who deserve the achievement.
