A girl and boy meet each other when their parents arrange their marriage, they fall in love, the boy gets cold feet and runs away but comes back and marries his lover. Right? But isn’t that too cliché? Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, is a breath of fresh air in between these monotonous love stories.
After giving us the recent power pack performance in Newton, Rajkummar Rao is all set to prove his caliber as an actor once again. His character development from a middle class romantic guy ditched on his weeding to a rich and powerful no-nonsense person is commendable.
The leading lady, Kriti Kharbanda too will leave you piqued with interest. Why did she leave her sweet fiancé in the mandap is what is going to keep churning in your mind.
The trailer leaves us all bewildered and excited with its plot wondering if the couple finally patch up and marry in the end. Don’t just take my word on it, check out the trailer here
The final dialogue, ‘Everything is fair in love and war, love is over ab war begins’, damn well sums up what Rajkummar goes through.
Directed by Ratnaa Sinha and produced by Vinod Bachchan, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is slated to release on 10th November 2017.
