Lajja (2001)
She only has a minimum time on screen but she still manages to captivate the audience with her stellar performance as the midwife Ramdulaari. The scene in which she is burnt alive still hurts.

We all remember Rekha as Mrs. Mehra, the mother of a mentally disabled child (Hrithik Roshan). The manner in which she brings him up as a single parent is commendable.
