Well we guess this is a safety measure. Season 8 is the finale season of Games of Thrones, and the makers – HBO, aren’t taking any chance in details, ESPECIALLY THE FINAL END, reaching the audience before its official telecast.
HBO’s president of programming Casey Bloys said that the several different endings for the show will be shot in order to prevent the true ending from being spoiled online.
“I know in ‘Game of Thrones,’ the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens,”
Bloys said during a speech at Moravian College, per local outlet The Morning Call.
“You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”
We say that’s smart. Game of Thrones is one of the most pirated series worldwide. The recently concluded season 7 suffered many leaks, with 2 complete episodes being available prior to its official air dates.
