Producer Rajan Shahi is known for his family shows such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai. However, his new web series called Love, Sex and Viagra, which recently started airing, is in a completely different genre. Shahi says that the response for the first episode has been phenomenal.
He said:
“The first episode was aired a few days back and the next episode will be aired this week. There is an overwhelming response on the digital platform for the first episode which I never expected.”
In fact, he adds that his team was apprehensive about making a show in a different genre.
He added:
“I think the faith to let in new creative minds and thoughts to come forward and experiment on the digital platform has worked for our First Kut Production. My team was initially hesitant about working in this show. I am glad this has really worked for us. I give the entire credit to the writers, the directors, the creative team and the actors, who decided to work in it. To get such a positive and overwhelming response for the first episode itself has made a great gateway for the First Kut Productions. Also, I am proud of the creative team. They have created such a fascinating and different story, call it sensational or bold, but it really worked with the audience. I am looking forward to creating many such web series in the future.”
