Child actor Kartikey Malviya, who plays the role of the young Shani in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s hit show Karamphaldata Shani, won the award for the best child actor at Zee Gold Awards.
Kartikey is ecstatic at his win and says:
“I am really happy that I got the award at a time when there was so much competition among all the other channels. But I am happier because Shani got the award for the best show! All our efforts got fruits!”
Talking about the atmosphere of the show, Kartikey says that the team is like a family.
He added:
“Our production house is like a big happy family, I never miss home when I am on the sets. The best parts about shooting on this huge set are the action sequences and the visual effects.”
Kartikey’s fans are a big part of his life and he has them as well as his producer to thank for his success.
On this he said:
“When my fans meet me, they touch my feet and offer flowers as though I am God. This is so overwhelming. I feel blessed. I am getting so much love from my fans and this is only because of my producer Siddharth Sir and production house Swastik Productions. He believed in me which is why I could play this role and I credit him for my success.”
The actor, who was also felicitated at the Golden Petal Awards, says that he has no strategy to act well.
He further added:
“Acting is a natural process, you have to act with your heart …full of emotion and only then can you reach the audience. I hope I become an even better actor and maybe even do some films in the future.”
