There is good news for J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter) fans. ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, which was a hit last year will be coming up with its second part on November 16, 2018, followed by the third on November 20, 2020.
The second part has Johnny Depp playing the role of Gellert Grindelwald in the film. The latest to join the cast is Jude Law, who will be seen as young Albus Dumbledore in the film.
The sequel will have the lead actor of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, Eddie Redmayne, and will be directed by helmer of four Harry Potter films David Yates.
Talking about Dumbledore, about a decade ago, the writer of Harry Potter series, JK Rowling during an interaction with fans, revealed that Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore was gay and that when he was young, Dumbledore had an immense crush on his rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a duel. She added:
“Albus was horribly, terribly let down, and his love for Grindelwald was his great tragedy.”
So, will we be seeing Jude Law romancing Johnny Depp onscreen? Well, we will have to wait till next year for that 🙁
