Emmay Entertainment’s brand new web series ‘Mini Truck’ will showcase a new side of Imran Khan which people are not aware of. Hosted by popular television show host and VJ Mini Mathur, the series will explore her celebrity friends cook up some of their favorite dishes on her fancy food truck.
Talking about being part of the show and displaying his culinary skills, Imran said:
“Mini is a close friend of Avantika and mine. I share a great equation with the show producers. The director (Karishma Kohli) is also an old friend. I thought it would be great fun to be on that set and indulging in one of my favorite hobbies (cooking).”
Being an avid cook since he was a child he tends to gravitate more towards Italian and continental styles of cooking. He further added:
“Honestly if a delicacy tastes good, I would like to learn how to make it. I’m pretty famous for my Bolognese lasagna.”
Calling the first episode magical, host Mini Mathur says:
“It’s like everything came together and felt so right. Besides being an outstanding cook Imran was an amazing guest – funny, witty and so patient. The show is about food and memories. So a lot of family recipes, comfort food and stories will be discovered through travelling.”
‘The Mini Truck’ came into existence because of Mini’s friends and Emmay Entertainment Co-founder, Nikkhil Advani, who urged her to show the world what a talented cook she is. Mini had always been fascinated by the idea of a food truck and has watched several American food truck shows. ‘The Mini Truck’ is a 7-9 minute weekly web series which will feature a Bollywood celebrity in each episode. With Ching’s Secret and London Dairy as their brand partners, ‘The Mini Truck’ is slated to air on India Food Network soon.
