UA Exclusive Interview: Gurdas Maan Wants To Be A Guiding Light For The Youth In Punjab

 

 

Gurdas Maan’s latest Punjabi album will give you goosebumps, to say the least. The name of the album is titled as ‘Punjab’.

 

 

In this album Gurdas Maan has explained the reality of Punjab in India. He mentioned drug problem in Punjab but the video deals with various other issues of  various kinds of ‘nashas’ – social media updates, selfies, GMO, giving kid’s iPads over books etc and all other matters. These issues don’t just relate to Punjab but are universal in their appeal too.

 

 

Its lyrics have been written by Gurdas Maan himself and the music has been composed by Jitender Shah. The title track video for this song has been produced by Sumeet Singh and Manjeet Maan of Sai Productions and the song has been released on YouTube under the label of Saga Music.

 

 

The album is directed by his son, Gurikk Maan. The album has seven songs in total.Gurdas Maan has always stood for having a sense of forward thinking faith, women empowerment and as a beacon of the youth in Punjab.
