Now how cool is this! As the net was breaking with the new ColdPlay video featuring Beyonce – the crew also signed a special instrument for a special someone! A signed guitar by the entire band will be auctioned at a charity auction called The Idea of India hosted by Rahul Bose! India seems to have caught Coldplay’s fancy on a whole other level. From meeting the Prime Minister and Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi with Freida Pinto for her women’s empowerment initiative to having a Holi creative as his album cover to now contributing to a very special cause helmed by Rahul Bose. Chris Martin and the entire Coldplay band have signed and donated a very special guitar for the charity auction hosted by actor Rahul Bose – The Idea of India.
Rahul’s annual charity initiative “The Idea of India” is a black tie sit down evening which will be held in Mumbai on Feb 19 where 12 of the most iconic memorabilia – including Coldplay’s guitar – will be auctioned. The signed guitar is the only international piece of memorabilia that will be auctioned along with 11 other pieces donated by some major and noteworthy Indian heroes and legends.
Now that’s one signature that someone will be happy with for a very long time!
