The humble actor, Ali Fazal has no issues admitting that in his Hollywood debut, Fast and Furious 7, he will be seen in three scenes. The film features Hollywood stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. Ali believes that actors get criticized when they project more than they can deliver.
More often than not, when an Indian actor is featured in a Hollywood production, he or she is criticized for the length, visibility or importance of the role. When asked if his case will be any different, Ali told IANS, “I have three scenes in the film. I haven’t said otherwise, nor do I want people to expect more. It’s an integral part, and an important one. I liked it so I did it.” He further added, “We get criticized because we project more than we deliver.”
Ali will also be featured in Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming film, Love Affair. Ali had ended up replacing Arjun Rampal in Love Affair. Fast and Furious 7 is scheduled to release on April 3rd. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comment section below.
