Looks like Bik is Back! Bikram Singh shot straight to the top of US bhangra with his smash single, “Kawan” in 2005. His songs like, “Telephone,” “Tere Nain Nashiley,” “Do the Thang Thang,” “Ik Jindree,” and most recently, “Beyonce” have solidified his place in the industry. “Beyonce” was the first single to release off his soon-to-be-released album, Bik.I.Am.
Now, Bikram is keeping the momentum going by releasing his second single off of the Bik.I.Am album – “Kinna Sohna Munda.” The track is out on iTunes today. Although, the lyrics and the composition on Kinna Sohna Munda may be traditional, the production is as fresh as ever! The chorus is taken from one of the traditional folk Punjabi “Boliyan”, but the rest of the lyrics are authentic Bikram. They were written by both Bikram & Tigerstyle (Raj & Pops). Bikram has also released the official video for Kinna Sohna Munda, that was filmed in California.
