Jay Sean heads to Sesame Street!

Cash Money Record’s Jay Sean, the British born Indian artist who was recently honored by the BBC Asian Network with a documentary of his work thus far, makes an appearance on the popular American children’s show, Sesame Street!

Sean tweeted this past May that he was on set for a project for the 42nd season of the PBS children’s show but it was all a secret!

“I was on the set of Sesame St today….I’m not gon say why yet..but this may have been one of the most historic moments of my career yet!”

Sesame Street is a production of Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit educational organization which also produces Pinky Dinky Doo, The Electric Company, and other programs for children around the world. Besides Jay Sean, Sesame Street is all set to have some of the music industry’s top stars featured on the show this season including Bruno Mars and Elvis Costello who will be singing with Elmo!

Sean’s feature includes a music video where Sean not only sings but also raps about Super Grover 2.0 on the new season of the children’s show. Sean talks of the power of investigation and observation, adding a little hip-hop to the children’s show, with an addictive catchy beat that Sean is known for.
