Manish Bansal’s men wear line was a canine inspired collection!

Fine tailoring and a unique sense of credibility gave Manish Bansal an edge over his contemporaries. He redefined the British Bulldog, with a complete contradiction of approach to its regular combative self.  The tenacious and dynamic personality of a man was well narrated through his presentation ‘The British Canine’ at Jabong Stage during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015.

Manish Bansal displayed a wide range of apparels from casual knit pullovers to semi-formal jackets, formal blazers and calf length coats. The ankle length pants had the union flag print at the hem and the faux fur detailed collar were a major highlight. The colour blocked/checked patches were perfectly surfaced balancing the desired hunky look.

The bull-dog print was smartly incorporated as a whole or in terms of elements showcasing the innovation of print placement. The colouration was a well-balanced blend of dark hues such as Marsala, ox blood, red, navy blue with a pinch of beige, which was highly inspired from the union jack flag. Felt, wool, checks, cotton viscose and jersey were the snow friendly fabrics that were warmly welcomed and synchronized in the collection.
