Look who is getting hitched this weekend. Yes it’s another Khan wedding but this time a very small and private one. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu who have been seeing each for a few years are getting hitched this weekend and the Mehndi ceremony has already begun!
Soha and Kunal will tie the knot on Sunday, and it will be a departure from the grand five-day celebrations at Soha’s brother actor Saif Ali Khan’s wedding to actor Kareena Kapoor two years back.
“Our wedding will take place at our home, where Kunal and I stay. It will be a small wedding in the presence of our family members,” Soha said.
The duo has been dating for quite some time, and they have been living together.
Earlier today Arpita Khan who also got married a few weeks ago posted a photo on Instagram with the bride to be! Looks like it’s the year of the Khans!
Sharmila said she’s “very happy. We are celebrating… What will happen that day (on wedding day), I don’t know… I’ll feel a little bit emotional that day.”
“But I have finally decided on my look. It’s a simple wedding at home. But I think it should be memorable and special. And I will be dressed for the occasion,” Soha said.
Well looks like she has already made an amazing fashion statement with her Henna dress as she wears a Ritu Kumar which was designed just for her. Check out her dress below!
When asked why she is not donning her family’s traditional dress, which was worn by Kareena at her wedding, Soha said,
“That was the tradition in our family. The gharara belong to my Badi Ammi (my father’s mother) and it was passed down to her daughter-in-law (my mother) and then it was given to my sister-in-law in law Kareena.”
Well guess we wil have to wait and see who she wears on her wedding day! Happy Wedding Day!
