Ample Play Records drops new music video and albums from both CornerShop and Jack Lesser Lewis

This May fans are in for a treat! Ample Play Record’s Cornershop released their new music video titled Who’s Gonna Lite it Up. The track features the Swedish born vocalist Izzy Lindqwister.

If you have never heard of the group Cornershop, its a British indie rock duo consisting of Tjinder Singh and his brother Avtar Singh. The band name originated from a stereotype referring to British Asians often owning street corner stores. Their music is a fusion of Indian music, Brit-pop, and electronic dance music.

Check out the new music video for their track Who’s Gonna Lite it Up. The video consists of a psychedelic make-over, cramming live actions shots & stop frame animation, great vocals and rich percussion.

In addition, Cornershop is releasing their new album titled Urban Turban on May 14th. Order the format of your choice, vinyl, cd or download and enter the code AMPLE7 at checkout and get 10% off!

Ample Play Records is also releasing a new album from artist, Jack Lesser Lewis. He was born in Lower East Side of NYC and has made Portland, Oregon his home since 2006. He is bass player, singer, and sometimes a songwriter for his brother Jeffrey Lewis Band. His new album depicts Portland life, with a spring in your step and your pockets in your hands. You can download this track Whitey for free until he releases his album, Awkward Energy, on May 28th.

Keep it locked on Urban Asian for more news from the talented artists at Ample Play Records!
