Question: What were your feelings about working with Akshay Kumar?

Answer:
I was extremely nervous to work alongside him as Akshay has been doing action films for a long time. Since, this is my first time doing a film like this, I was really nervous and anxious but I learned so much from Akshay and Jackie. It was really important to me to get the right technique and make it look perfect.

Question: How did you train for the role?

Answer: I had to bulk up for this role so I went through extreme training and dieting. I had to bather in ice cold water and gain around 8 kg for the film, to match Akshay’s physique. I went on a high protein diet to bulk up.

Question: If there was something you could learn from Akshay, what would it be?

Answer:
Akshay speaks amazing Punjabi so he would crack these jokes in Punjabi. He speaks Punjabi so well, I would love to learn that from him. I also learned how he deals with his work, which was a very important lesson.

Question: Who was in charge of your look during filming?

Answer:
It was basically the director, Karan Malhotra that decided my look. Hakim Aalim was in charge of my hair.

Answer: I wanted to share the first look of the film with my real life brother. A lot of people don’t recognise him, so he went unnoticed at the gathering, but his feedback is extremely important to me.

Question: What was it like, working with Akshay Kumar?

Answer: Akshay was really nice from our first meeting itself. We share a very sibling type relationship because he always looks out for me and asks how my family is doing.

Question: Were you nervous about sharing on screen space with Akshay?

Answer: This would be my first experience sharing screen space with a star of this magnitude and I have learned a lot from this experience. It taught me how to maintain my stardom and how to deal with it.
