Vishal Bhardwaj, who was last seen in ‘Sasural Simar Ka‘ has been zeroed to play a prominent role in the Tenn-Speed TV India and Paperback Films’ show ‘Meri Durga‘ (on Star Plus).
According to reliable sources,
“Vishal will enter the show as Madhav, who is an architect by profession. He will meet Durga’s family by chance, they get impressed by his profile and offer him to stay with them as a paying guest. There will be a love triangle between Madhav, Amrita (Aishwarya Sharma) and Shilpa (Ashna Kishore).”
When contacted Vishal confirmed being a part of the show and said,
“It’s an interesting character, Madhav will try to woo Amrita’s father (Yashpal Choudhary) in a similar way Shah Rukh Khan tried to impress Amrish Puri in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge‘.”
Vishal has already started shooting for ‘Meri Durga‘ and his entry is expected to telecast soon. For those uninitiated, Vishal has acted in shows like Itti Si Khushi, Silsila Hai Pyaar Ka, Krishnadasi and Khidki.
