Anshul Pandey, who essays the role of Naman in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata , has turned a new leaf. The young and dashing actor recently saw a shift in character when Naman turned from positive to negative on Star Plus’ longest running show.
Speaking on the same Anshul stated,
“I agreed to take on a negative role as it gave me a chance to explore myself as an actor. Naman’s negativity gives me a much needed break from the monotony which had set into my character. It was challenging at first but gradually became enjoyable to essay a more complex character and of course there was the icing on the cake of shooting at beautiful locations in Switzerland.”
When asked if the character has affected him in any way personally Anshul stated,
” I have always been a very carefree, spontaneous person and lived life on my own terms but recently I feel I have matured. I have grown to be a more cautious individual. However, I do feel that the old me was a bit more exciting than the new one!”
