May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day will finally give a break to our busy bee actors who are constantly juggling work and a private life. Primarily celebrated in Great Britian and now it’s former colonies, the holiday is dedicated to laborers of all kinds. We asked some of these actors what they would do on their official day off. This is what they had to say:
Dhruv Singh
I would like to spend it with my loved ones and some friends. And also try to catch up with my pending work overall really looking forward.
Amal Sehrawat
My father taught me when you rest you rust . I only look for one kind of “break”….break for bigger and better work. I may ask for holiday break when I am 60 maybe. But as for now I would spend some quality time with my best friend.
Krishna Gokani
I would go out for dinner with my friends and have loads of conversations about life and I may read a book too.
Karan Ambardar
1st May is a Sunday I will be home and relaxing. Maybe I will go for an early massage. Followed by pot luck at my place. It’s been a while since I have had a get together at my place.
Arti Singh
I would sleep the whole day . As I am shooting continuously for my new show. And I know I will be shooting regularly so gonna sleep all day and pamper myself.
Sandeep Anand
It’s been 3 months I have been shooting continuously and I have a habit of traveling so 1st may will be driving somewhere out from Mumbai.
Prasad Barve
Doing theater that day so not keeping me away from acting I have show at Aspee Theatre in Malad.
Shashank Vyas
I would be in Surat attending a friend’s sister wedding. I would have a blast.
Mrunal Jain
I would go to spa to pamper myself and will go to mount Mary Church in the evening to pray for people who matter.
