After delivering an astounding performance as Arjun on Star Plus’ Everest, Sahil Salathia is back again with yet another awestriking character. His upcoming project has him essaying the role of an HIV patient.
Commenting on his role the actor told Pinkvilla,
“It (his character) does not revolve around the stigma over HIV in the country and globally. Rather deals with how HIV is no more the deadly disease and can be treated just the way other diseases are treated. It’s to give a ray of hope. It doesn’t mean that if you have been infected with HIV, then one’s life is over; there is still how you can live and get it cured. It is a very hard-hitting film but has its own light moments as well.”
The best part about the movie Sahil feels that it recently got screened at the HIV Congress in Goa. It was also awarded by the Governor of Goa and the movie will soon be globetrotting! “Once the rounds of film festivals are done, then they will be releasing it for the audience!”says Sahil.
