It’s Lakme Fashion Week and we can’t stop looking at all the gorgeous designs walking the ramp!
6Degree, one of India’s first fashion talent and tech startups which provide opportunities for fashion professionals to showcase their talent across the globe has recently joined hands with Lakme Fashion Week 2016 as it’s talent partner. 6Degree introduced three new talented designers named Lalit Dalmia, Saroj Jalan, and I AM Design by Pratik and Priyanka who showcased their creations at the LFW 2016.
Pratik and Priyanka’s showcased their collection INDIAN me FUSION which took inspiration from the traditional Indian weaves and motifs. They have taken the traditional look by recreating it in a non conformist way and thus fashioned a renewed interest for the conventional Indian motifs and designs. Actress Urvashi Rautela- show stopped for them was seen donning the beautiful silhouettes by them.
Lalit Dalmia’s collection was inspired by McQUEEN as he reincarnated silhouettes similar to that fashion style. In his collection he maneuvered a mind blowing revival of McQUEEN era fused with his magnificent sense of Gothic cult. In addition he fused a variety of emotions like eroticism and lust with the help of his intriguing color palette which included blue, wine, peach, and fuchsia. The icing on the cake was Mr. Morani the showstopper!
Moving away from fusion and goth styles, Saroj Jalan showcased the collection themed Sone Ki Chirya – India. An Indian seeped in its traditional roots, cultural diversity, and it’s Rajsi Virasatt (royal heritage). Jalan’s collection depicted the celebration of the ethnic extravaganza of their rich and diverse chronicle. Mixed in the harmony of nature and traditional motifs. An essence of their grandeur society has been mixed in as well. Walusha D’Souza showstopper looked marvelous and stunning in the creations of by Saroj Jalan.
