In just a few days, Inda will celebrate one of its most patriotic holidays, Republic Day, and where there is celebration, there is music. On this occasion, we asked our fellow celebrities which song evokes emotions of patriotism in their hearts. Here is what they had to say:
Amal Sehrawat-My favorite patriotic song is Bharat Humko Jaan Se because this song reflects the love that Indians have for their country as well as highlights the beauty of secularism in India. Reflecting our diversity, it sums up our unity I’m one phrase, “hum Hindustani hai”.
Vipul Roy– My favorite patriotic song is Ae Vatan as I have been singing this from my school days and it gives me a thrill of patriotism.
Poonam Preet-My favorite patriotic song is Aisa Desh from Veer Zaara because it describes the beauty of our country perfectly.
Roma Navani– My favorite patriotic song is Ae Mere Vatan Ke.I get tears in my eyes when I listen to it. It is also my favorite because it is sung by Lata ji who has sung so many songs with my Nana ji Jimmy Singh.
Krishna Gokani– My favorite patriotic song is Sandese Aate Hai from Border. It is a song which gives me jitters every time I hear it.
Pankhuri Awasthy– My most favorite patriotic song is Apni Aazadi Ko Hum because I sang that for a competition in school and won the first prize .This song has a strange national and patriotic feel and force to it .
Delnaaz Irani-My favorite patriotic song is Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan because the lyrics have such a beautiful meaning and the song gives me goose bumps.It is immensely patriotic and each word is so meaningful.
Mohammad Nazim-My favorite patriotic song is Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge from Karma because I love the lyrics and this song inspires us and reminds us the duty towards our country.
Ankit Gera-My favorite patriotic song is Maa Tujhe Salaam because it rises the patriotic spirit whenever I listen it and it is filled with lot of energy of patriotism
Ajay Chaudhary-My favorite song is Vande Mataram by AR Rehman because it is the best patriotic song for me and the way A R Rehman has sung this song is superb.
Himanshu Soni-My favorite patriotic song is Mera Rang De Basanti Chola because I hold Bhagat Singh and Chandreshekhar Azaad very high in regards. I salute to the real heroes of the country who gave up their lives so that we could live free in years to come.
Arjun Bijlani-My favorite song is Ae Mere Watan Ke because the song stirs me emotionally each time when I hear it. I salute army people for being there for our safety laying their lives.

Mrunal Jain-My favorite patriotic song is Hai Preet Jaha Ki Reet Sada from film Purab Aur Panchim because it has great lyrics and it makes me proud when I listen this song.
Rishina Kandhari-My favorite song is Des Rangeela from Fanaa movie because it describes the cultures in India and Kajol performed really very well in this song.
