The recently released trailer of Meeruthiya Gangsters has already been grabbing eyeballs on all social networking sites, but if there’s one thing that’s being equally getting attention in the Zeishan Quadri’s quirky gangster flick is the music by Siddhant Madhav. An insider reveals that Siddhant was Zeishan’s first choice to do the film’s music!
The actor-writer-director first came across Siddhant when he had approached Anurag Kashyap and Zeishan during Gangs Of Wasseypur with four songs. While, Anurag didn’t like them, Zeishan was impressed and told him that when he will direct a film, he will use his songs. So, when he decided to make Meeruthiya, he called Siddhant for the songs and kept his promise he’d made to the music director. Incidentally, Anurag is one of the presenters of Meeruthiya Gangsters.
Set for a September 18 release, Meeruthiya Gangsters features Jaideep Ahlawat, Mukul Dev, Aakash Dahiya, Sanjay Mishra, Vansh Bhardwaj, Chandra Choor Rai, Jatin Sarna, Shadab Kamal, Nushrat Bharucha, Saundarya Sharma, Ishita Sharma, Brijendra Kala and Malkhan Singh.
