Raksha Bandhan is a beautiful holiday celebrating the love between siblings (blood or not). It gives brothers and sisters a chance to realize how important the other is to them and to appreciate the moments you have together. Respect your sister always. She needs to learn how a man should treat a women, if you disrespect her she will feel like that is what she deserves. You don’t want people to take advantage of your sister, you need to show her how a lady should be treated.

Protection is key! This is what Raksha bandhan is all about! You should always let your sister know that you have her back and of course, she will have yours!
Support
You are the only other person who will understand her problems because you live in the same house, raised by the same parents! No one will understand her situation better than you so don’ve ever let her forget that she has you to support her.
Equality
In a culture and society where girls are treated as second class citizens many times you need to treat your sister as your equal. She needs to know that she is not any less than anyone else in the world and can succeed at anything she does.
